PURPOSE: To allow an intermediate repeater station to simply confirm line changeover information by providing a line changeover information detection means, a storage means and a changeover information display means or the like in the equipment.

CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary processing unit of an intermediate repeater station is connected to a line changeover information demultiplex means 1 demultiplexing line changeover information added to an auxiliary signal, and the equipment is provided with a line changeover information detection means 2 detecting line changeover information for each terminal station, a line changeover information storage means 3 storing the line changeover information and a line changeover information display means 4 displaying the line changeover information. Then the line changeover information demultiplex means 1 demultiplexes the line changeover information added to the auxiliary signal, the line changeover information detection means 2 detects the line changeover information for each terminal station, the line changeover information storage means 3 stores the line changeover information and the line changeover information display means 4 displays the line changeover information. Since the line changeover information is easily recognized without a simple maintenance tool available, the equipment is convenient for the maintenance.
