Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a width of a nip at a printing position where a thermal head and a platen come into contact with each other.
CONSTITUTION: A thermal head 40 having a plurality of heat generating bodies 39 arranged at an edge E on a line and a platen 38 for forming a printing position P by coming in contact with the heat generating bodies 39 are provided. Further, a head holding section 47 for holding the thermal head 40 is provided being slanted to the tangent of the platen 38 extended from the printing position P.
