PURPOSE: To prevent the movement of a barstock from a groove to another groove when receiving the barstock falling from a line trough device with the receiving groove of a cooling floor, and to reduce the wear of a fixed rake bar.
CONSTITUTION: An outside guide 2 on a transfer machine side, which forms a dropping space, is extended to the vicinity of a fixed rake bar 21, and a notch 21a to which a movable rake bar 22 performing a circular movement can come in and go out, is provided at the bottom end of the fixed rake bar 21. At the bottom end of an inside guide 3 on a transfer terminal side, a rocking member 17 is provided, which rocks through the expansion and the contraction of the rod of an air cylinder 18 in a range from a horizontal position to a vertical, which shuts off a falling space with a height possible to avoid a barstock B scooped up by a groove 22a for transfer of the movable rake bar 22 existing in a top position. Then, the barstock B falling from the falling space is caught once by the oscillating member 17 to weaken a shock, and a jumping-up quantity is reduced. Therefore, the movement of the barstock B from the groove to another groove is eliminated, and the wear of the fixed rake bar 21 is reduced.
