PURPOSE: To facilitate changing the line-up spacing by positioning the line-up bed having a chain with attachment where a groove is formed to load the pipes.

CONSTITUTION: The first line-up positioning arm 5 comprising a chain 3 with attachment where a groove is formed to load pipe P is hooked on to an arm eyelet 6a, the second line-up device bed 2 positioning the arm allows to be in a non-operating condition without hooking to the arm eyelet. Next, the pipe P loaded parallelly on the pipe loading relay 10 is carried by the air cylinder 9 individually to the groove which is formed in the chain 3 having attachment of the first line-up device bed 1, allowing the pipe P to secure in the groove sequently for lining-up in an equal spacing. When the positioning arm 5 of first line-up device bed 1 is hooked to the arm eyelet 6b, the spacing of pipe P is changed to groove pitch × cosα°. The second line-up device bed 2 may be used when other line-up pitch is needed.
