To prevent an excessive fishing line from being entangled by winding the loosened fishing line onto a reel when operating the fishing line from a place on a boat according to manual operations.

This line winder for fishing is equipped with a reel for winding a fishing line and a driving part for driving the reel. A torque transmitting means 4 capable of slowly transmitting a torque from the driving part to the side of the reel and absorbing the torque with the reverse rotation of the reel is installed between the reel and the driving part. The torque transmitting means 4 is equipped with an impeller 16 on the driving side connected to the driving part and an impeller 17 on the driven side, arranged oppositely to the impeller 16 on the driving side and rotated and driven under a pressure of a fluid delivered therewith. When the impeller 17 on the driven side is rotated with the impeller 16 on the driving side, the reel is rotated to wind the fishing line. When the fishing line is delivered, the impeller 17 on the driven side is reversibly rotated together with the reel against the pressure of the fluid.
