Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a long stroke linear actuator for conveying light weight objects by accommodating a spiral roll of ribbon of a conveying mechanism within a main body and sending out the ribbon by means of roller drive. CONSTITUTION:A ribbon 2 is spirally wound around a shaft equipped with a retraction spring 9. To send out the ribbon 2, a pinch roller 5 is lowered by means of a cylinder 1 so that the ribbon 2 is held between a rubber roller 4 connected to a motor 10 and sent out. A pusher 8 is attached at the front end of the ribbon 2 so that objects to be conveyed can be conveyed smoothly. After finishing conveying, when the pinch roller 5 is raised by retracting the cylinder 1, the ribbon 2 is automatically rewound by means of force of the retraction spring 9.
