Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear actuator with falling preventive mechanism capable of preventing the fall of an inner cylinder receiving a load when a driven nut is broken.
SOLUTION: A fall preventive nut 12 is screwed in a driving screw axis 5 adjacent to a driven nut 9, a shear pin 13 radially-protruding is fixed against either of the driven nut or an inner cylinder 4, or the fall preventive nut in a cantilever state, and an axial shear pin guide groove S to be slidably-inserted with to be the protruding end side of the shear pin 13 is formed on the other. The inner cylinder and the driven nut are displaced in the direction of the load acting on the inner cylinder to the fall preventive nut, so that the shear pin is allowed to abut on the end part of the shear pin guide groove to be broken, and the inner cylinder or the driven nut is allowed to abut on and supported on the fall preventive nut to prevent the inner cylinder from falling.
