PURPOSE: To provide a double-helix spring which is integrated, and which is assembled easily, and for using a compressor and the like in which lateral reaction force is not generated.

CONSTITUTION: First and second end members 66, 72, and first and second elastic helical members 78, 80 extending between end members 66, 72 along a longitudinal axis 82, are constituted in an integral structure, and the first and second helical members 78, 80 are constituted so as to mutually cancel lateral reaction forces. The helical members 78, 80 are constituted by starting helix of a same winding direction from a position apart by 180° of a circumference of the end members 66, 72 or with two serial helixes whose winding directions are opposite to each other, in order to constitute so as to mutually cancel reaction forces.
