Abstract:
To permit miniaturization of the subject device in a simple mechanism.
This linear damper type vibration reduction device 5 reduces vibrations of a gimbal 4 that is equipped with a flywheel 2 and an engine 3 as power supply. Both ends of the gimbal 4 are swingably attached to a carrier 8 via gimbal shafts 6, 7. Links 52, 53 are rotatably provided at the lower part of the carrier 8 via pivots 50, 51. Between upper arms 52a, 53a of the links 52, 53 and the end portion of the gimbal 4, rods 60, 70 are connected via universal joints 61, 62, 71, 72. Further, lower arms 52b, 53b of the links 52 and 53 and the carriers 8 are connected via dampers 63, 73 that are disposed at the lower part of the gimbal 4.
