Title:
LINEAR DRIVE METHOD FOR PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMIC ACTUATOR AND LINEAR DRIVE CIRCUIT APPLYING IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3807780
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear drive circuit applying a linear drive method for piezoelectric ceramic actuator capable of performing a DC linear drive without requiring expensive means and of reducing the hysteresis of displacement-voltage characteristics.
SOLUTION: In this linear drive circuit, a detection signal of a nonlinear generated voltage detected and measured separately and independently from a DC input voltage by a bridge circuit including a piezoelectric element capacitor CP roughly sketched is input with a subtractor 5, this detected signal is properly amplified proportionally as gain H by a proportional gain circuit 1, is turned into an addition signal by adding to a DC input voltage VIN with an adder 2, then applied to the piezoelectric element capacitor CP as a gain G1 by a voltage applying circuit 3, and the displacement of the piezoelectric ceramic actuator can be made linear relative to the DC input voltage VIN because the substructure 5 has a loop configuration containing an adjusting gain 1/G1 for adjusting the gain adjust circuit 4 to take a balance for the bridge circuit.
