To provide a linear food material-cutting and supplying apparatus capable of surely and smoothly cutting a linear food material without preventing the movement of the linear food material.

This linear food material-cutting and supplying apparatus 10 is used for cutting halfway during conveyance and supplying linear food materials which are continuously produced, placed on a supply conveyor 15 and conveyed. The apparatus has a cutter 70 which moves along a conveyance line of the supply conveyor 15 at a speed almost the same as a moving speed of the supply conveyor 15. The cutter 70 has a pair of cutting blades 73 and 73 which perform an opening/closing operation, and the cutting blades 73 each have a recessed shape blade edge 75 and cut through slidingly contact each other while surrounding the outer periphery of the linear food material.
