Abstract:

To provide a linear guide device where, even when an offset-load is applied to the roller rolling in a load rolling passage, the offset-load can be effectively reduced and the movement of a slider relative to a raceway rail can be smoothened and wear of the rollers can be prevented as far as possible.

A bearing race 2 has a load rolling surface 5 on which the roller 1 rolls, a reception groove 4 is provided on the slider at a position opposed to the rolling surface on the side of the raceway rail 2 for the bearing race 2 to be fitted, the bearing race 2 and the reception groove 4 are formed in an approximately semi-circular cross section in the direction orthogonal to the rolling direction of the roller 1, and the bearing race 2 is structured so as to be oscillatable in the reception groove with its outer peripheral face in sliding contact with the inner peripheral face of the reception groove. The center of the oscillation of the bearing race 2 in the reception groove 4 is located between the rolling surface on the side of the raceway rail 10 and the load rolling surface on the side of the slider, opposed to each other.
