Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved internal confinement for one part of a flexible tensile means and a slide and/or rotation means inside a guide cave.
SOLUTION: A linear guide unit has a guide housing 10 provided with a linear ball bearing for guiding a carriage 40 in its inside. Further, a drive 56 by air action is stored in the housing 10. The drive is provided with a cylinder cave 58 inside the housing 10. A piston 60 stored in the cave 58 is movable along the cylinder cave 58 and connected to the carriage 40 by a flexible rope 74. This rope seals and penetrates the cover wall 66 of the cylinder cave 58 and is turned at the outside of the cylinder cave 58 and fixed to the carriage 40. A cover belt 90 different from the rope covers the opening 31 in a longitudinal direction of the housing 10. The carriage can be connected to an object through this opening.
