Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost linear guide which has practically sufficient precision.
SOLUTION: A slider 3 is loosely fitted in a loose fitting manner in a guide 4, and through engagement of a V-pulley 5 and attached in the deep groove of the slider 3 with a round bar 7 attached to the linear groove of the guide 4, the linear motion of the slider 3 is guided. There is no need to high-precisely machine the inside of the guide 4 and the outside of the slider 3 throughout a whole. By limiting a part to need precise machining to a deep groove and a straight groove, machining is simplified and simultaneously, a low-cost existing part is utilized for a V-pulley 5 and a round bar 7 required for precision and a manufacturing cost of a linear guide 1 is lowered.
