To solve a problem that a film forming device using high vacuum, an advanced micro-machining device, a complicated manufacturing process and high manufacturing cost are required for manufacturing a currently widely used large display panel produced on a flat substrate.
A dielectric film and a phosphor film are deposited on an inner surface of a hollow wire body for forming a linear light emitting device provided with an electrode. Then, the light emitting device is weaved for forming a display panel. The large display panel can be manufactured by a comparatively simple device and a simple process, which is effective in reduction of the manufacturing cost. The linear light emitting device can locally emit light of various colors and intensity. The display device can be manufactured at a low cost by weaving the linear light emitting device without using an expensive manufacturing device and a complicated process.
