Abstract:
To provide a finite linear motion guide unit in which a displacement is prevented from occurring, and that has a small number of components and a simple structure.SOLUTION: A linear motion guide unit comprises: a rail comprising a pair of raceway grooves in side surfaces; a table comprising a pair of raceway grooves opposed to the raceway grooves of the rail respectively; a plurality of rolling bodies installed in raceways formed by the raceway grooves of the rail and the raceway grooves of the table, and for rolling in association with movement of the table; and a retainer for rotatably holding the rolling bodies, and moving along the rail in association with the rolling of the rolling bodies. The linear motion guide unit includes a pair of rack gears fixed to the rail and the table respectively, and a pinion gear rotatably fitted to the retainer, and engaged with the pair of rack gears. The retainer is formed of an integrally formed steel plate. A shaft of the pinion gear is directly held in a hole formed in the retainer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
