To provide a linear motion guide unit capable of actualizing maintenance-free operation while reducing the size thereof.SOLUTION: A linear motion guide unit 10 includes a rail, and a slider 21a, the slider 21a including a slide part 31, a first side plate 41, and a second side plate 51a including two second circuit upper side faces 29a, 29b constructing parts of two second circuits 24a, 25a, and opposed to two second circuit lower side faces 28a, 28b, respectively, and arranged to connect the slide part 31 and the first side plate 41, the second side plate 51a being formed of a porous material and including an impregnated part 56 impregnated with lubricating oil, the impregnated part 56 including two second circuit upper side faces 29a, 29b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
