Abstract:
To provide a linear motion mechanism which can perform minute angle steering to a steering wheel or a non-steering wheel in addition to the normal steering of the steering wheel, can improve fuel economy, can enhance traveling stability and so forth, and can reduce the backlash of a slide screw of a mechanism for converting power, a hub unit with a steering function and a vehicle having the same.SOLUTION: A hub unit 1 with a steering function comprises a hub unit main body 2, a unit support member 3 for rotatably supporting the hub unit main body 2 around a steering axial core which extends in a vertical direction, and a steering actuator 5 for rotationally driving the hub unit main body 2. The steering actuator 5 has a linear motion mechanism 25 for converting a rotation output of a motor 26 to a linear motion. A nut part of the linear motion mechanism 25 has first and second divided structures 45, 47 divided into two pieces which are aligned in an axial direction, and the first and second divided structures 45, 47 are regulated with respect to each other in a rotation direction, and relatively movably arranged in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
