Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor driven sorting device the height of which is can be made lower and which is capable of making a carriage run quietly and in a stable state.
SOLUTION: A carriage 12 which supports a sorting tray 2 in such a way as to be capable of inclining sideways is fixed to the outside circumference side of the traveling path of connecting links 9A, 9B, connected endlessly with a connecting shaft 10 and driven cyclically inside a vertical plane. The inside circumference side of the traveling path of each connecting link consists of reaction plates which receive drive force from a primary side stator unit 23. Traveling rollers 11 provided on both edge parts of the connecting shaft 10 and guide rollers 21 provided on the carriage are each guided with the traveling roller supporting plane 'h' of a rail 8 and a guide roller guiding plane 'v'.
