Abstract:
To achieve highly efficient high torque linear electric machine by a highly reliable approach.
A linear motor has an armature including a coil, a field system including a permanent magnet or an electromagnet, and a yoke. The armature is disposed in the field system, the coil in the armature is excited, and any one of the armature or the field system is moved linearly. The armature is a molding encompassing a coil by a magnetic material, and has such a structure that a wall is formed of a magnetic cylindrical body at least on the inner or outer periphery of the coil.
