Abstract:
To provide a small size linear motor provided with a highly efficient cooling structure.
A plurality of slots 13 and teeth 14 are alternately provided in one side surface of a primary side iron core 12 and a cooling yoke 15 is placed in contact in the opposite side surface of this primary side iron core 12. At each slot 13 of the primary side iron core 12, an endless type coil unit 16 is respectively loaded around the primary side iron core 12 and the cooling yoke 15. The cooling yoke 15 is provided therein with a flow path 21 of the cooling liquid and is also provided with an aperture 22 at one side surface thereof and is closely provided back to back with the primary side iron core 12.
