To promote motor output by adopting a structure, capable of conducting a coil winding with the sufficient number of windings to an armature confronting with a field magnet, even when magnetic collecting sections are provided to the front ends of core salient poles.
In an armature 5 of a linear motor, magnetic collecting yoke plates 55 and 56 are mounted to the front ends of a pair of salient poles 52 and 53, projected vertically from a core 51 by means of welding, etc. Those magnetic collecting yoke plates 55 and 56 are mounted after a coils winding 54 is wound on the core 51 and do not interrupt yoke plates 55, 56 in the case the coil winding 54 is wound thereon. Accordingly, the coil winding 54 can be wound equally with the sufficient number of windings.
