Abstract:
To realize an inexpensive linear motor.SOLUTION: An armature iron core 11a includes: a first magnetic tooth 151 opposed to a first face 122f; a second magnetic tooth 152 opposed to the first face 122f and adjacent to the first magnetic tooth 151 along a Z-axis direction of its moving direction; a third magnetic tooth 153 opposed to a second face 122r; and a fourth magnetic tooth 154 opposed to the second face 122r and adjacent to the third magnetic tooth 153 along the Z-axis direction of its moving direction. When a distance between a center of the first magnetic tooth 151 and a center of the second magnetic tooth 152 in the moving direction Z is defined as a magnetic tooth pitch TP, a mover 12 has the first face 122f magnetized to one of S and N poles over a range which is 0.8 times longer than the magnetic tooth pitch TP along the moving direction, and the second face 122r magnetized to the other of the S and N poles over a range which is 0.8 times longer than the magnetic tooth pitch TP along the moving direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
