Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a simple, inexpensive and highly accurate linear movement mechanism, the highly accurate linear movement mechanism with less loads of a motor, and the image input device using the linear movement mechanism for shifting picture elements of an image pickup element.
CONSTITUTION: This linear movement mechanism is provided with the body 20, the motor 30 attached to the body 20, a rod member 40 rotated by the motor 30 and provided with a male screw part and a guide part 44, a slider member 50 provided with a guide reception part 54 fitted to the guide part 44 of the rod member 40 and a female screw part fitted to the male screw part and linearly moved by the rotation of the rod member 40 parallelly to the center axis of the rod member 40 and a slider rotation stopping member 60 for controlling the rotation of the slider member 50 by the rotation of the rod member 40.
