PURPOSE: To provide a linear moving device capable of suppressing a friction load to a min. at the time of moving a carriage and accurately performing moving control of the carriage.
CONSTITUTION: A slider 3 provided on one side of the carriage 1 is slidably fitted to a guide shaft 4, and a guide pin 7 provided on the other side of the carriage is engaged with a groove 8a of a lead screw 8 which is driven to rotate by a motor M, a free end part of a preload spring 9 consisting of an elastic plate fixed with its base part to a lower surface of the carriage on the side of the guide pin is brought into contact with the lead screw from its lower side. A low friction coefft. material 10 or 11 is interposed between contact parts of the preload spring 9 and the lead screw 8 or between engagement parts of the guide pin 7 and the lead screw 8.
