Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic flux efficiency and to improve the responsiveness of a linear pulse motor by forming the surfaces of platelike pole members as pole faces and concentrically disposing the pole faces. CONSTITUTION:Platelike pole members 73-76 are used as pole faces, which are concentrically disposed. The back surfaces of pairs of poles arranged perpendicularly to the moving direction of the movable side of a linear pulse motor are contacted with different poles of a permanent magnet 81. The members 73-76 are excited by two exciting coils 79, 80. A scale 72 has a toothed portion 72a, and is opposed to the toothed portions 73c-76c of pole members 73-76. The toothed portions 73c-76c of the members 73-76 and the toothed portion 72a of the scale 72 are relatively displaced at 1/4 pitch on the basis of the mutual work between the magnetic flux by the permanent magnet 81 and the magnetic flux by the exciting coils 79, 80.
