Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce low-band noise during reproducing of a record by lowering the resonance level of a resonance point owing to the mechanical resonance of an arm. CONSTITUTION:The tracking position control loop for an arm base 6 is constituted of an angle detector 12, a voltage amplifier 13, an adder 24, a power amplifier circuit 14 and a coil 9. In the record playing state, the arm 1 and the arm base 6 operate so as to be always at a right angle to the advance direction, and the displaying speed output corresponding to the displacement of the arm 1 generated by a differentiating circuit 22 is added together with the displacement output by the adder 24, the output whereof applies control to the movement of the arm base 6 in the tracking direction, thereby stabilizing the operation. The output of the circuit 22 is further differentiated by a differentiating circuit 23, which generates a displacement acceleration output. This output is amplified 13 and is added 24 together with the output of the circuit 22. The circuit 23 has a phase advance function, and makes the response frequency of tracking control operation high and the tracking response of the arm 1 and the arm base 6 fast.
