Abstract:
PURPOSE: To clamp a rectangular fabric piece without staining its corner sections with a lubricant and travel it at a high speed by releasing a toothed block to avoid interference when the teeth of a toothed belt interfere with the teeth of the toothed block on the clamp side, returning the toothed block to the correct position with a compression spring, and driving the clamp.
CONSTITUTION: A wheel 39 rolled in a drive conveyor rail 31 is fitted to a shaft 38 fixed to a clamp main body 36, and a toothed block 37 having multiple projections engaged with a clamp driving toothed belt 34 is releasably fitted to the clamp main body 36. The toothed block 37 is arranged astride the clamp main body 36, two pins 40 fixed to the clamp main body 36 are inserted and fixed into a vertical long hole 37a bored on the toothed block 37, and a compression spring 41 is provided between the clamp main body 36 and the toothed block 37. When the teeth of the teethed belt 34 interfere with the teeth of the toothed block 37, the toothed block 37 is released to avoid interference, then the toothed block 37 is returned to the correct position, and a clamp 35 is normally driven.
