Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the extent of operation efficiency at the time of connecting two pipes, in a pipe joint liner which is used at a time when a form memory alloyed heat contractive cylinder is used as a clamping means.
CONSTITUTION: This pipe joint liner is formed into a cylindrical shape, and it is provided with a projection 10 protuberant in the inner circumferential direction at the axial central part of an inner circumferential surface, and a diameter of a circle connecting a ridge part of this projection 10 along the circumferential direction is set to be slightly smaller than each outer diameter of two pipes 2, 3 to be connected.
