Title:
LINING STRUCTURE OF LADLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06285614
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To restrain the thermal deformation of an iron shell and to prevent the damage caused by breakage of a permanent brick and opening of the joint part of lining bricks by interposing heat insulating material having small shrinkage percentage in between the iron shell and the permanent brick in a ladle.

CONSTITUTION: The heat insulating board 4 of SiO2-Al2O3 series ceramic fiber is interposed in between the iron shell 3 and the permanent brick 2 in the ladle 1 and constituted by compress-forming the ceramic fiber composed of 20-40wt.% Al2O3, 5-10% the total wt. of CaO, Na2O, K2O and Fe2O3 and the balance SiO2. Then the shrinkage percentage is ≤5% at the time of applying 5kg/cm2 of the load at 1000°C. Further, the heat insulating board 4 is ≤3mm/sheet of the thickness and interposed by laminating plural sheets and the executing thickness is 6-9mm.
