Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slime growth monitor equipped with a slime sticking tester utilizable as a slime monitor of a water system containing a large amount of suspended materials or sedimenting particles such as white water for paper machines.
SOLUTION: This slime growth monitor is capable of introducing water from an actual water system through a removing apparatus 4 for suspended materials and removing apparatus 5 for sedimenting particles into a tank (intermediate tank) 6, feeding the water from the intermediate tank 6 to a removing apparatus 7 for underwater bubbles, passing the water through the removing apparatus 7 for underwater bubbles, then feeding the resultant water into a slime sticking tester 8, making the water flow from an inflow port (1a) at the bottom of an external cylinder 1 into a clearance between the outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylinder 2 overflowing the water from an overflowing part (1b), then discharging the water from a discharge outlet (1c) and returning the water through a circulating pipe 9 to the intermediate tank 6.
