PURPOSE: To make a connecting and disconnecting hand move back and forth by rotating each parallel link member on a fulcrum, a connection between the parallel ring member and a movable plate, according to the extension and contraction of an expanding and contracting body.
CONSTITUTION: Parallel link members 10 are rotatably connected to a connecting and disconnecting hand 3 at one end and are rotatably supported by a bearing section 13 installed on a movable plate of a left and right motion unit 8 at the other end. They are located parallelly to each other. A hydraulic cylinder 11 is rotatably supported by the movable plate 12 at a middle part and the end of a piston rod 11L is rotatably connected to a middle part of the parallel link member 10. Therefore, when the hydraulic cylinder 11 extends or contracts, the parallel link members 10 rotate on the bearing section 13 as a fulcrum while keeping the parallelism between them according to the extension or contraction of the hydraulic cylinder 11 and then the connecting and disconnecting hand moves back and forth with the motion of the parallel link members 10. By this method, no more space is necessary than the one required for back and forth strokes of the connecting and disconnecting hand 3 and thereby the entire length of a wire extending vehicle can be shortened and as a result, the size and the weight of the vehicle can be reduced.
