Abstract:
To provide a standard substance capable of accurately and easily assaying a lipid hydroperoxide, and to provide such a stable lipid hydroperoxide capable of increasing its level in vivo when orally administered, thus usable in treating or preventing various diseases.
The standard substance for assaying the lipid hydroperoxide comprises a lipid derivative with a fatty acid derivative of general formula(I)( wherein, m is an integer of 0-29; and n is an integer of 0-13 ) as constituent fatty acid.
