Abstract:
To provide an -lipoic acid-containing cosmetic or skin care preparation free of offensive odor emission with time.
The -lipoic acid-containing cosmetic or skin care preparation comprises a combination of (A) one or more compounds selected from -lipoic acid, a salt thereof and a derivative thereof and (B) a polyphenol compound. Another version of the -lipoic acid-containing cosmetic or skin care preparation comprises a combination of the component(A) and (B) a plant extract containing the polyphenol compound. This cosmetic or skin care preparation is substantially free of offensive odor emission with time attributable to -lipoic acid.
