Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lips mechanism of a robot capable of expressing various rich facial expressions while maintaining a natural balance between a lips and other facial constitutional elements.
SOLUTION: A first rotating shaft 1 is provided in the neighborhood of a front end of an upper lip part 3, and the whole of the upper lip part 3 an a lower lip part 4 is rotated around the rotating shaft 1 as its center by an upper lip driving motor 6. A second rotating shaft 2 is provided on a rear end side connecting part between the upper lip part 3 and the lower lip part 4, and the lower lip part 4 is rotated relative to the upper lip part 3 around the rotating shaft 2 as its center by a lower lip driving motor 7.
