To prevent an injection characteristic of a liquefied gas fuel in a fuel injection unit from becoming less stable than before in a liquefied gas fuel feed system for an internal combustion engine using a liquefied gas as a fuel.
The liquefied gas fuel feed system includes: a fuel tank 2 filled with a DME fuel serving as the liquefied gas fuel; a high pressure pump 4 for pressurizing the DME fuel fed from the fuel tank 2 and sending it out to the injector 6 of the internal combustion engine; a feed pump 3 for feeding the DME fuel from the fuel tank 2 to the high pressure pump 4; and fuel cooling device 10 for cooling the DME fuel fed from the feed pump 3 to the high pressure pump 4. The fuel cooling device 10 is configured of a cooling circuit 11 in which the liquefied gas as a coolant flows; a radiator 12 for cooling the DME fuel flowing in the cooling circuit 11, a fuel vaporizer 13 for vaporizing the DME fuel that has been cooled in the radiator 12, and cooling unit 8 for cooling the DME fuel fed to the high pressure pump 4 by the heat of vaporization from the DME fuel in the fuel vaporizer 13.
