To provide a liquefied gas fuel injection device for an engine capable of inhibiting liquefied gas fuel from leaking to a cam chamber through a gap between a plunger and a plunger barrel.
In the liquefied gas fuel injection device provided with a fuel force feed cam 11 rotationally driven in synchronization with engine rotation and a fuel plunger 1 reciprocating in a fuel plunger barrel 3 following the fuel force feed cam 11, and delivering liquefied gas fuel sucked in the fuel plunger barrel 3 from a fuel gallery 2 to a fuel injection nozzle, a cam chamber 12 storing the fuel force feed cam 11 and a cam chamber pressurizing means pressurizing the cam chamber 12 are provided, and liquefied gas fuel of low viscosity is inhibited from leaking to the cam chamber through the gap between the plunger and the plunger barrel by increasing pressure in the cam chamber 12 to the same level as pressure of liquefied gas fuel introduced to the fuel gallery 2.
