Title:
LIQUEFIED GAS TRANSPORT LINE HAVING AT LEAST ONE BRANCH PATH FOR VAPOR OF LIQUEFIED GAS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01199099
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce heat loss in a line by disposing means for adjusting a passage cross section area in a bypass with one end connected to a transfer tube and another end connected to a gas recovery line. CONSTITUTION: One end of a plurality of bypasses 16, 18, 20, 22 is connected to a transfer tube 10. Valve 24, 26, 28, 30 are disposed in the middle of bypasses 16, 18, 20, 22, respectively. These valves has functions to adjust cross section areas for the passage of vapors in the bypasses 16, 18, 20, 22 and to adjust a gas-liquid separation level. The portions of the bypasses in an outer tube 12 are cooled by cold vapors circulating in the bypasses 16, 18, 20, 22. The enthalpy of the cold vapor of the gas circulating in the bypass 16 is transferred to a middle shield 14.
