Abstract:
PURPOSE: To protect heat exchanger tubes from being cooled extremely without interrupting vaporization efficiency of a whole device.
CONSTITUTION: In a heat exchanger tube 22 which connects a lower header to an upper header, a liquefied natural gas pipe 32 is installed only in a fixed area from a terminal section on its inlet side. Fins 33 installed to the outer periphery of the liquefied natural gas pipe 32 are brought in press contact to the inner periphery surface of the heat exchanger pipe 22. The heat exchanger tube 22 is adapted to come into direct contact with natural gas in an area near the outlet side rather than the area where the liquefied natural gas pipe 32 is installed.
