Abstract:
To provide a sheet for adsorbing a liquid containing an anticancer agent, which rapidly absorbs a liquid such as urine containing a highly poisonous medicine such as an anticancer agent and which adsorbs a medicine contained in the liquid, thus offering improved safety for patients, medical workers, hospital personnel, and the like, being effective as a measure against secondary exposure in a hospital and, at the same time, being easy to use.SOLUTION: Provided is a sheet for adsorbing a liquid, comprising a layer for absorbing a liquid containing a medicine disposed on the surface layer, which sheet absorbs a liquid containing a medicine, the liquid containing a pharmaceutical molecule of an anticancer agent; and a transmission prevention layer, which prevents leaking of a medicine from the side of the layer for adsorbing a liquid containing a medicine, laminated on the backside of the layer for adsorbing a liquid containing a medicine. The layer for adsorbing a liquid containing a medicine is formed by papermaking while comprising 10-30 wt.% of adsorption activated charcoal, 15-60 wt.% of pulp, and 15-60 wt.% of inorganic fibers, where a total weight of the adsorption activated carbon the pulp and the inorganic fibers account for 90 wt.% or more of the total weight of the layer for absorbing a liquid containing a medicine.SELECTED DRAWING: None
