Abstract:
PURPOSE: To emit a signal when the quantity of liquid remaining in a vessel has become below a specified level by furnishing a means which is coupled operationally with jaw members as a sensor moving toward the close position in compliance with drop of the liquid quantity and emits a signal depending upon the spacing between the jaw members. CONSTITUTION: Jaw members 14 and 15 are pivoted on the opposing end parts of a bridge 13 and are equipped with inward directed inclining end parts 14a and 15a energized by springs 16 and 17. A fixed contacting piece 19 is mounted on the bridge, while an adjustable contacting piece 20 is mounted on the jaw member 14 through a contact block 21. A flexible wire 22 connects the contact block with the circuit concerned through the inside of a cylinder 12, and another flexible wire 23 connects the fixed contacting piece 19 with the circuit. A hook 18 is installed at the lower edge of a washing bag 24 containing liquid. When the surface 25 of the liquid 26 lowers, the jaw members are shut by a spring force, and the contacting pieces close the circuit at Point 27. As a result, an alarm signal is issued before the bag is emptied completely.
