Abstract:
To provide a liquid application device capable of smoothly discharging liquid with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A liquid application device 10 includes a diaphragm 12 changing an internal volume of a liquid reservoir 11, and a driving section 13 positioned on the diaphragm 12. The driving section 13 includes a driving piezoelectric element 20, an exciting piezoelectric element 21, and a horn 22. The driving piezoelectric element 20 vibrates in accordance with application of a first drive voltage signal. The exciting piezoelectric element 21 vibrates in accordance with application of a second drive voltage signal having an amplitude smaller than that of the first drive voltage signal and having a frequency higher than that of the first drive voltage signal. The horn 22 vibrates together with the exciting piezoelectric element 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
