This liquid applicator applying the liquid on the surface to be applied has: a tank bored with first through-holes in the bottom side and filled with liquid in its inside; a body part disposing the tank on its upper surface side and bored with second through-holes making the upper surface side communicate with the lower surface side adjacent to the first through-holes disposed in the upper surface side; a control member, when being located in a prescribed position in the first through-hole of the tank, shutting off the feed of the liquid fill inside the tank to the upper surface side of the body part and, when moving from the prescribed position, allowing the feed of the liquid filled inside the tank to the upper side of the body part; and an elastic member positioning the control member by a prescribed energizing force.
