To provide a liquid applicator which can keep pools of a liquid at tapered tip parts of brushes and moreover, and allows a sufficient application of a larger amount of the liquid on hairs by getting each piece of the hairs smoothly penetrated into the tapered tip parts.

The liquid applicator 1 applies the liquid on the hairs with brush bristles 3 formed out of resin fibers. The tip parts 3a of at least some of the brush bristles 3 are formed into a shape extended and tapered 3b being melted by heating work. Each tapered one 3b of the tip part 3a has a length larger to the tip from its base part 3b1 as compared with the width of the base part 3b1. All of the tip parts 3a are curved in shape and each tapered one 3b of the tip parts 3a is split.
