Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chemical for a contact lens with which a harmful microorganism can be sterilized in a short time and also which does not harmfully act on ocular tissue.
SOLUTION: The liquid chemical for the contact lens contains (a) microbiologically effective amount of ε-polylysine and a compound expressed by a following structural formula (1). The structural formula (1) is shown by a formula in the figure. In the formula, R is an alkyl group.
