PURPOSE: To enable accurate distribution of components by clarifying the attribution of components eluted from a column during the elution thereof in an assay of a biological liquid or the like by chromatography.
CONSTITUTION: Components separated with a column 5 enters a detector 8 for processing a signal thereof and the ratio of increment of the signal is indicated on a display unit 17 somewhat after the detection of the peak. This value is roughly equal to the ratio of the absorbance depending on assay conditions. In other words, the ratio between the retention time and the increment of a component to be collected is inputted into an input key panel 11 using the initial analysis results for reference. If so, components are distributed into a vial by automatic rotation of a turn table 12 and so forth on the judgement of a microcomputer 18. This method enables automatic distribution while clarifying the attribution of components eluted thereby ensuring accurate collection of components.
