Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chromatography capable of firm sealing between a filter and a packing on its periphery.
SOLUTION: In this liquid chromatography for isolating an object material by allowing stock solution to pass a packed bed 2 in a hollow cylinder 1, plugs 5, 17 stored inside are included in at least one open end of the hollow cylinder 1, and the periphery of the plugs 5, 17 has at least one step 6, viewing from the section direction. The chromatography is equipped with a filter packing 7 whose inside is arranged close to the step 6 and whose outside includes a tapered face relative to the inner wall of the hollow cylinder 1, and a seal packing 8 arranged close to the periphery of the filter packing 7, whose outside adheres to the inner wall of the hollow cylinder 1. The filling material 2 is sealed by the plugs 5, 17, the filter packing 7 and the seal packing 8.
