To obtain a liq. cleanser compsn. which is highly effective in cleaning fur on a sink or soap scum on a bathtub by incorporating a specific aspartic acid-N,N-diacetic acid or alkylglycine-N,N-diacetic acid (salt) into the same.

This compsn. comprises 0.1-30wt.% aspartic acid-N,N-diacetic acid represented by formula I [wherein M1 to M4 are each H, an alkali or alkaline earth metal, ammonium, or (substd.) alkylammonium; and R1 is O or OH] or alkylglycine-N,N-diacetic acid represented by formula II (wherein M5 to M7 are each the same as M1 to M4; and R2 is a 1-18C alkyl or alkenyl) or its salt (A), 0.1-30wt.% surfactant (B), and 1-70wt.% water-insoluble abrasive (C), the wt. ratio of the surfactant to the abrasive being (1/1)-(1/100). Ingredient A enhances the power to clean fur on a sink or soap scum on a bathtub and gives a compsn. excellent in long-term storage stability.
