To provide a liquid composition of a manufacturing process of an oxyalkylene group-containing vinyl ester-based resin which does not cause the aggregation of hydrotalcite particles, even when hydrotalcite is mixed in a high content and has a high productivity and an organic solvent solution and an aqueous solution containing the oxyalkylene group-containing vinyl ester-based resin obtained by this process and hydrotalcite.

The manufacturing process comprises saponifying an organic solvent solution of an oxyalkylene group-containing vinyl ester-based resin in the presence of hydrotalcite and replacing, as necessary, the medium of the solvent after saponification, or alternatively adding hydrotalcite to an organic solvent solution of an oxyalkylene group-containing vinyl ester-based resin with a degree of saponification of 0 mol% or after saponification and subjecting the solution to solvent replacement.
