Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable to keep a liquid fluidity and also to obtain a liquid capable of hardening, as necessary, and a hardened material having excellent mechanical properties by containing water granulated blast furnace slag, ultrafine powdery material, a dispersant and water.

CONSTITUTION: This liquid composition is obtained by mixing total 100 pts.wt. composed of 95-70 pts.wt. of water granulated blast furnace slag having ≥1000cm2/g specific surface area and 5-30 pts.wt. of ultrafine powdery material such as silica fume having ≤1μm average particle diameter smaller by ≥1 order than the water granulated blast furnace slag with 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a dispersant such as poly(meth)acrylic acid having 1000-20000 molecular weight and containing carboxylic group or its salt in the molecule and 10-40 pts.wt. of water, and a high molecular weight water-soluble polymer such as sodium polyacrylate having ≥20×104 molecular weight for improving fluidity, as necessary. The resultant liquid composition is added with 0.1-10 pts.wt. of an alkali stimulant such as sodium hydroxide and cured to obtain a high-strength inorganic material.
